TUESDAY 12:15 - 1:30 pm EST
Prerequisite: Spanish 1
This course reviews the basic language concepts learned in Spanish 1 and introduces new grammar and vocabulary. Students will become more fluent by following
a logical, practical approach. This class includes reading aloud, comprehension, writing, and translation. It introduces classical
Spanish literature. By the end of the year, students will feel comfortable using present, past, future, and subjunctive tenses. Although the instructor uses curriculum for the foundation, she expands the course by including her various experiences from living in Spain, where she currently resides.
Weekly homework reinforces the concepts taught in class and the teacher is available during live office hours and by email to assist students. Assignments are graded and students receive a mid-term report as well as a year-end course credit report. Students may take this class for Honors credit.
