FRIDAY 1:45 - 3:00 pm EST

Prerequisite: High School Writing Methods

This study of World History, covering Ancients through Renaissance and Reformation, uses whole books and primary source documents, as well as research and note booking projects to help students retain content as it is learned. Students will be required to complete various writing assignments incorporating selected writing styles. With some reading assignments, students will read the exact words of the time period author. Other assignments include informational books and biographies to provide a real sense of the events and people of the time period.

Weekly practice reinforces the concepts taught in class and the teacher is available during live office hours and by email to assist students. Assignments are graded and students receive a mid-term report as well as a year-end course credit report.
