Heather Varner is a Canadian, proudly born and raised on the East Coast. While she considers herself a Maritimer at heart, she is now happily settled in Cobourg, Ontario where she works full time in the family business, managing education projects for internal staff and other business from coast-to-coast. She graduated from Mount Allison University in 2013 with a BA, majoring in English, and went on to be a successful participant in the Yale Writers' Conference in the summer of 2013, where she further grew her creative and professional writing capabilities.
Heather is currently engaged to her college sweetheart / fiance, Mac Brown, and they are excitedly planning their Spring 2019 wedding. Heather has two siblings with whom she is very close, and is currently lucky enough to call her younger brother her 'roommate,' as he presently rents a room in her home. Throughout her teen / young adult years she spent endless hours working with youth in church, summer camps, and child care environments. With a background in freelance writing and education, she loves spreading her passion for the written word with CBB+ students. Heather tries to make unconditional compassion the key factor in all that she does, and aims to inspire this same belief in those around her.
