Course Description:

In this basic elementary Spanish course,

students learn to describe themselves, give directions for a

recipe, discuss some places around town, and more. They'll study

the four elements of language: grammar, vocabulary, culture

and pronunciation. Pronunciation and culture will be based mainly

on Monterrey, a dialect widely accepted in Latin America. The

best from historical and modern language-teaching methods will

be used to develop understanding, long-term memory, and critical

thinking—using context-based grammar practice, processing

instruction, role-playing, songs, games, and more.
